Our website is about software that was created to design objects in a computer. Astounded by what technology can do in terms on design, we wanted to create a website that can explain, show, and spread the knowledge of various graphic designing softwares.These applications aid many people in our society by enabling them to create stunning designs. In our website we focus on designing software that benefits with architectural and 3-Dimensional design.  Focusing on Autodesks:AutoCAD and SketchUP we talk about how those software work and their unique interface. Our website also includes Bibliocad. Bibliocad is a site that allows user to download user created designs to be implemented in AutoCAD. We chose this topic because it was interesting to explore the possibilities of computer designing software in our era.

 

The AutoCAD software is implemented in a class at the University of Guam. It is an astounding designing software that is able to design, build, and format objects. AutoCAD can be used to design buildings, furniture, and many other things. This software can help produce floor plans for houses, model 3 dimensional objects, and create accurate dimensions and measurements. This software is also compatible with a diverse selection of languages. This enables this program to be used internationally so that anyone around the world can create stunning designs. Modeling houses, creating items, and altering landscapes are just many things a user can do in AutoCAD.

 

SketchUP is another graphic software that we found interesting. SketchUP’s interface has a unique design that allows for easy and quick usage. This software also has a colorful approach to captivate its audience. On the website people can try this product for free or by purchasing a license that will give more benefits to the user. SketchUP is  an easy to use software that can create stunning models in a short period of time.

 

Computer-aided design (CAD) is the use of the computers to create, modify, and share designs. Using these software improves the productivity of the designer and the quality of their designs. In addition to designing, these programs can also be used in the production of computer animations and special effects in media. Also, since the drawings are saved electronically, they can be shared with people through online databases such as Bibliocad.
